At Yorba Linda Spotlight Players we strive to provide a community space that inspires artists to reconnect to their creative passions and love of theater.

We are excited to partner with the City of Yorba Linda to produce meaningful, entertaining experiences for the local and surrounding communities.

UPCOMING AUDITIONS: The Addams Family

THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Audition Date, Location & Requirements

**Must be 16+ to audition**
**The role of Pugsley Addams will be open to 10+**

VOCAL AUDITIONS: August 13, 2026 from 5:00-9:30pm. Held at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center. This day will be for vocals only.

DANCE AUDITION: Saturday August 15th 10:30am -12:00pm. (Anyone auditioning for the show must attend). Please be prepared to learn a short movement combination. Dress comfortably and wear appropriate attire/shoes.

CALLBACKS (By Invitation Only): Saturday August 15th 1:00-4:00pm

LOCATION: Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please bring a headshot/resume and prepare a 1 minute audition cut in any style. Accompanist will be provided.

Is there a fee to participate?

No. There is not a fee to participate in YLS Players productions.

Rehearsals & Performances

REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin August 25th and be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings 6:30-9:30pm (occasional Saturday mornings possible) until the performances in October. Rehearsals will be held at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center as well as Yorba Linda Spotlight Theater Co. Studios.

PERFORMANCES: The Addams Family performs October 9th-25th 2026 at the Virginia DeLand Theater at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center.
