At Yorba Linda Spotlight Players we strive to provide a community space that inspires artists to reconnect to their creative passions and love of theater.

We are excited to partner with the City of Yorba Linda to produce meaningful, entertaining experiences for the local and surrounding communities.

Before the iconic film, Louisiana salon owner Truvy first set up shop on the stage. The endearing cast of regulars and employees that frequent her establishment include a mother-daughter duo planning a wedding, a woman who’s “been in a bad mood for 40 years,” and a mysterious newcomer. STEEL MAGNOLIAS journeys through laughter, tears, and a thick fog of hairspray, as these women face trials and triumphs armed with their greatest strength: each other.

CALLBACKS (By Invitation Only): April 12 ⁕ 12:00 – 5:00 pm

LOCATION: Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center

WHAT TO PREPARE: What to Prepare: A 1–2 minute contemporary monologue (preferably comedic or dramatic with Southern flavor), you may be asked to stay and read sides at the initial audition. Please provide a headshot and resume.

Is there a fee to participate?

No. There is not a fee to participate in YLS Players productions.
