Ron began his career with Yorba Linda Spotlight at the age of 11 back in 2009 performing in their production of Beauty and the Beast. He knew way back then he found himself a home! Growing up with YLS, he’s performed in over 30 shows with the company, his favorites being The Wizard of Oz, Once Upon a Mattress, Chicago, and Into The Woods! He’s donned many hats since hanging up the Spotlight performing shoes, stepping into various roles including choreographer, house manager, stage manager, and front desk receptionist, just to name a few!
Being a Southern California native, he grew up going to Disneyland and turned that love of the parks into a full time job! He’s performed for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for just about 6 years now, dancing in over 20 parades and shows including Paint The Night, the Main Street Electrical Parade, the Frightfully Fun Parade, the list goes on! His absolute favorite has to be helping out Mickey bring his imagination to life in Fantasmic! However, the fun doesn’t stop there! He’s also had the immense privilege of performing for other SoCal theme parks, including Universal Studios Hollywood and SeaWorld San Diego, as well as being a performer for the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. 2020 brought on some unexpected bumps in the road, and when faced with some challenges, he turned to teaching to ignite his performing spirit again, and hasn’t looked back since! Ron absolutely loves educating our students and guiding them on the path they want to follow, and is here to support them in whatever goals they want to reach! His own personal goal when in the classroom is to make sure every student feels welcomed and accepted. His classes are judgment free zones where students are encouraged to make mistakes and try new things, and he finds no greater joy than when inspiring kids to do their best and see what they’re capable of!
