Ron Kinloch

Ron began his career with Yorba Linda Spotlight at the age of 11 back in 2009 performing in their production of Beauty and the Beast. He knew way back then he found himself a home! Growing up with YLS, he’s performed in over 30 shows with the company, his favorites were in The Wizard of Oz, Once Upon a Mattress, Chicago, and Into The Woods! Being a Southern California native, he grew up going to Disneyland and turned that love of the parks into a full time job! He’s performed for the Walt Disney Company since 2016, dancing in over 20 parades and shows, including but not limited to Paint The Night, the Main Street Electrical Parade, and the Frightfully Fun Parade! His absolute favorite, however, has to be helping out Mickey Mouse bring his imagination to life in the nighttime spectacular, Fantasmic! However, the fun doesn’t stop there! He’s also had the immense privilege of performing for other SoCal theme parks, including Universal Studios Hollywood and SeaWorld San Diego, as well as being a performer for the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Ron has recently directed our newly developed “Future Stars Series” productions, where he has found such a pleasure in introducing some of our newer performers into the world of theater and all that it can bring! Ron’s main goal with his Spotlight students is to create a place of inclusion and creativity, where anyone can come as they are! His rehearsals are judgment free zones where students are encouraged to make mistakes, try new things, and “SLAY” the day away!
