Born and raised in Portland, OR, Bryan is excited to be joining the team here at Yorba Linda Spotlight! He began his acting career and training at Northwest Children’s Theater and School performing in countless productions and teaching a variety of classes at the theater, or going to local schools across the Portland area. Trained in tap since he could walk, he worked closely with advanced students during summer intensive classes to bring the joy of tap to the stage. He also has a knack for circus arts, trained in juggling, stilt walking and clowning. Trained in musical theater and classical voice since he was 6, Bryan has also helped foster new original musicals with Northwest Children’s Theater and School, being heard on the soundtracks for Hansel and Gretel, Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, and Snow White (all original works created by NWCTS). He has also sung with Portland Opera and performed with a variety of different companies around Portland in shows such as Avenue Q, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Spring Awakening, Spamalot, and the 4×4 musicals (performed on a 4’ by 4’ stage). Since moving down to California in 2014, Bryan has focused his time working as a parade performer and as a coordinator for guest performing groups at the Disneyland Resort. He was most recently seen in The Drowsy Chaperone at Torrance Theater Company. Bryan has a passion for voice and dance and loves to bring his silly, funny and charming self into whatever he has to offer. He is ecstatic to get to know everyone and bring his love of the arts to everyone at Yorba Linda Spotlight.
