The Yorba Linda Spotlight Theater Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing performing arts education and performance opportunities to the aspiring artists of Orange County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, fun and positive experience for all of our participants and produce high quality performances with professional technical elements. Besides our full-scale musicals, we also offer classes in Musical Theater, Dance, Drama, Voice and Piano.

Founder, CFO, Director
Spotlight Founder. USC Society of Trojan Women Board Member. Screenwriter. Loves working behind the scenes to support our young artists.
OCSA Director of Integrated Arts. Spotlight Show Director/Choreographer. Enjoys sharing her passion for theater with the next generation.
Katie Jo McCauley
Disneyland Youth Education Facilitator, Guest Talent Coordinator & Ambassador. Has loved performing since she was 8.
First joined the Spotlight family as a student. BA in Education. Loves teaching the younger MT Workshops and our Performance Troupe.
Toured with the California Baptist University Women’s Choir. Studied vocal performance and music composition.
Studied Commercial Voice at nationally recognized Belmont University in Nashville. Studied Music History & Theory for a summer in Rome.
Loves to mentor and guide young artists. Veteran Director and Choreographer.
Choreographer, Camp Director
Dancing since she was 3. Co-choreographed a piece entitled “Rise Above" - ACDA South Regional Conference top 10 piece.
Founded IMPACT Dance Company. Performed in the 1993 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Michael Jackson. Teaches dance at OCSA.
MFA from UCLA. Director and Conservatory instructor at OCSA.
Magna Cum Laude BFA from Cal State Fullerton. Was the lead production singer for Holland America Cruise Line.
Christopher W. Smith
Passion for Dual Piano work. Resident music director for the Musical Theatre Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts. Also teaches at the Laguna Playhouse.
Has been singing, playing piano, and handbells most of her life. Defines herself as a musician, slightly obsessed with Disney, the color green, gum, and Christmas Caroling!
